How do I find out why a job board has failed my vacancy?

When you post your vacancy to the job boards, the boards will review the vacancy details and will return a response to confirm if they accept the vacancy. If the vacancy is not accepted, the posting to that job board will fail. The job board provides us with an error message so that you can understand why the vacancy has failed.

You can view the error message when a job fails by following the below steps:

  • Click on “LIVE”/"SOME LIVE" for the vacancy in question
  • Click on the “Post History” tab
  • If the advert has failed you will see “Failed” in the status column.

  • On the right hand side click to view both the “Job Board Response Data” and “Job Board Error Response Data” to view the error message we have received from the Job Board.
